The hardware size has been optimized, providing more tongue room and allowing the lips to close, further enhancing the user's experience.

Key Features

  • Custom-made 2-piece mandibular advancement device
  • Interchangeable hooks for Class I, II, and III bites
  • Precise degree adjustment for maximum comfort
  • Smaller hardware size for improved tongue room
  • Hex Key provided for easy adjustments

How It Works

The TAP 3 positions the lower jaw forward during sleep, effectively preventing the soft tissue of the throat from collapsing and obstructing the airway. This forward positioning maintains an open airway, reducing or eliminating snoring and sleep apnea episodes.

Important Note

Prior to construction, a bite should be taken with the mandible advanced to 65%-75% and a 4mm interincisal opening. This ensures the perfect fit and optimal results.

Materials and Lining Options

The TAP 3 is crafted from the dental casts of each individual patient. The outer layer is made of a durable polymer (polycarbonate), and it offers a choice of two unique linings: Triple Laminate (TL) and ThermAcryl®. The dual laminate polymer combined with the outer hard plastic shell creates a triple-laminated tray, providing the perfect balance of durability and comfort.
